Assessment and Reporting
Regular opportunities for assessment have been proven to enhance student learning. There are termly assessments for all students. These assessments will allow us to check that selected aspects of learning, which have been undertaken over the term, are thoroughly understood.
Prior to these assessments, there will be a series of learning checks and an interim assessment where students will be able to demonstrate the extent of their understanding. For more information about these learning checks, please refer to the web-site curriculum page for Programmes of Study.
The detail of the courses in every subject at KS3 are covered by the Programmes of Study so that you can see what learning has been covered in any half term.
To keep you informed of your children’s progress, you will be able to access your child’s assessment grades via Go4Schools (For further information see below).
At Cambridge Academic Partnership we use a reporting system called ‘Go4Schools’. This allows families to view assessment information online. We can send paper copies home where email access is unavailable, but this request will need to be made via the school office by emailing email@example.com.
Once families have logged onto the ‘Go4Schools’ website, they can view their child’s ongoing progress record. This is updated after every term. Your child’s online page also shows attendance information, teacher contacts and timetables. It will also show a full written ‘Report’ once a year.
To access the site, please go to www.go4schools.com
